Midtown Care Home first opened in 1963, had its first addition in 1993, and recently completed renovations to the entire building in 2022. These included gutting both of Crocus Plains Villa’s original wings to enlarge living spaces and add bathrooms to all suites. The newly designed rooms then received a new heating system and a fresh coat of paint.
The facility currently features 43 rooms- double rooms suitable for couples, and single rooms for individuals. All rooms are wheelchair-accessible, and include living space, closet space, and a private washroom. Communal spaces include a living room, coffee area, dining room, laundry room, and main activities room. Each wing has its own tub room, with assistance available upon request.
